Social Work Department

Trabajo Social. Paz y Bien Guatemala

8250 people were benefited with food, discounts on medicines and/or medical consultations

Paz y Bien supports the most vulnerable people who come to our facilities in order to get help from aid programs, including food and medical attention. Many of them arrive only with the ticket of travel and some even without breakfast, and it is there that our motto is fulfilled when they are cared for attentively by our social worker, who listens to their needs and follows up them. Being low-income people, many cannot undergo medical tests or acquire the medicines that the doctor has prescribed, therefore, during 2021, support was provided with food bags that receive monthly, discounts or/and exoneration in laboratory tests, discounts or/and donation of medicines, and free medical care.
