Anti-Abuse Program is a comprehensive program
in order to fight abuse and favoring promotion
of rural women and children at risk
1281 women participated in the different workshops and activities within the framework of the project. 10 clips including interviews, training videos and video presentations were part of the communication tools for the continuity of the project
Paz y Bien Association continued to work for the economic empowerment of women in the department of Chiquimula, and this has been possible thanks to the support of Manos Unidas, Spain, through the Comprehensive Program to Fight Abuse and for Promotion of Rural Women and Children at Risk. The pandemic was not an impediment for seeking strategies and continuing the process, benefiting women in different activities and programs, and taking into account biosafety protocols, and dissemination mechanisms through social networks. Within the framework of the programme, psychological care, employment courses and social assistance are provided.
