On January 1, 2021, the MSc Claudia Lara Laguna, a Nicaraguan national, joined our team of professionals. Claudia assumed the coordination of programs and projects of the Association in Guatemala.

Every year that passes, we see the respect and affection towards Manos Unidas of Spain. And from Guatemala we support all the work that this entity is doing for the most disadvantaged.

Carlos Cruz, Communication Director of Paz y Bien Guatemala, has been distinguished as ‘VIP Filmmaker of the Year’, at the gala of the first anniversary of the ‘VIP Guests’ program in Chiquimula.

Paz y Bien Guatemala has a commitment to transparency and is loyal to the country’s institutions, which is why we have worked on updating the licenses in order to continue providing our hospital services, making it clear that we work with all the documentation as necessary.

Paz y Bien Association and the Cooperative of Savings and Credit San José Obrero R. L. (COOSAJO) signed this year the continuity of an agreement for the support of its associates through the medical office, including free consultations.

Our agricultural complex is constantly growing and keeping up with the new modalities of production, both in the poultry area, animal husbandry and the crops of different vegetables.

14 years of creating smiles, creating illusions: this is our motto and since the birth of Paz y Bien we have worked for the most vulnerable people, as well as people with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Paz y Bien Guatemala delegation has an inalienable commitment to the Environment working together with teachers, parents, reservists and volunteers in different days devoted to reforestation in the municipality of Quezaltepeque.

Thanks to the grant from the Seville City Council, the construction of the Nutritional Silo was a fact and this supposes a valuable space to store, pack and distribute the food supplies for the people of the different social projects.

After the excellent work and relationship between Paz y Bien and the municipality of San Jacinto, an institutional cooperation agreement was signed this year in order to work together in the areas of health and training workshops for the residents of aforesaid municipality.
